How the FlowRider works

From booking to your first wave — here's exactly what to expect.

Four steps to your first ride

Book your slot

Reserve online and choose Guided Flow (we teach you) or Open Flow once you're approved.

Arrive 15 min early

Check in, sign your one-time waiver (or do it ahead online), and stash your gear in a cubby.

Suit up & safety brief

We provide the board — just bring a swimsuit and towel. Your coach covers stance and the golden rules.

Ride

Step onto the sheet wave and let it do the work. Bodyboard or stand up — our crew spots every ride.

What to bring

Bring a swimsuit. We'll bring everything else.

Boards, safety gear and a coach who has taught this hundreds of times. You need a swimsuit, a towel, and about ninety minutes.

  • Board and safety gear included
  • Lockers and changing rooms on site
  • Seating, food and drinks by the wave
  • Friends and family welcome to watch

First-timer questions

What should I wear?

A swimsuit under your clothes, and bring a towel. We provide the flow board.

Do I need any experience?

None at all. Guided Flow is designed for complete beginners, and your coach is with you the whole time.

Can I just come watch?

Absolutely. There's seating, food, and drinks by the wave, so friends and family can cheer you on.

I've surfed before — can I skip ahead?

Maybe. Show us a video of you riding and you could qualify for an Open Flow Card and head straight to open sessions.

How do waivers work?

Every rider signs a one-time waiver. Knock it out online when you book so you're ready to ride on arrival.

Is it safe?

The wave is a cushioned sheet of water over a soft surface, and a flow expert spots every session.

Ready for your first wave?

Book a Guided Flow session and we'll handle the rest.
